Marie

I was born and raised in a small town in northwest Pennsylvania. With five sports-minded brothers, I grew up attending almost every sporting event in the area. I still love going to the games and rooting on the younger members of my family.
 
I moved away from home to teach in the big city, but then my husband asked me to marry him and moved back home. I am now a retired teacher after 36 plus years of teaching.
 
I love gardening and golf in the summer and bowling in the winter. Traveling is my true passion, and I have stayed at least one night in every state except Alabama and Hawaii.
 
Some of my favorite ACT trips include Mackinac Island, MI - especially for the horses and the history - the sea shore (Outer Banks, Virginia Beach) and seeing the California Redwoods.
