Cross the famous Oresund Bridge into Sweden. Later, travel to Vaxjo – gateway to Sweden’s famous “glass kingdom,” home to the well-known brand Kosta Boda. Discover the genuine Swedish tradition of glassblowing at Sweden’s oldest operating glassworks factory, established in 1742. Today breakfast will be included.
Day 5: Vaxjo - Stockholm
Continue north to Sweden’s capital city of Stockholm. En route, stop to explore the one-of-a-kind Vasa Ship Museum and learn about its shocking maiden voyage when it sank in one nautical mile. This ship, commissioned in the 1600s by King Vasa, was raised 334 years later from the bottom of the harbor. Perfectly preserved, it offers a rare glimpse into the amazing craftsmanship of the 17th century. This afternoon, it’s your choice! Choose to explore the narrow streets of Gamle Stan (Old Town) during a guided walking tour with a stop at one of Sweden’s sweetest traditions, a candy cane making factory, for a demonstration. Or you may choose to see the city on a panoramic city tour via coach viewing the Riddarholm Church, the Royal Palace and the Parliament, as well as a visit inside Stockholm’s beautiful city hall. Tonight, enjoy dinner in the old town at Fem Sma Hus. This stunning restaurant, comprised of five connected timber-framed houses from the 17th century, captures the flavor of a bygone era. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.
Day 6: Stockholm
The day is yours to explore Stockholm at your leisure. Take some time to discover its strikingly colorful architecture and sample its innovative cuisine. Perhaps you will choose to join an optional excursion that immerses you in natural beauty on a privately guided tour of Stockholm’s spectacular archipelago. Today breakfast will be included.

Arrive in the quaint village of Flam, nestled at the entrance to the stunning Aurlandsfjord. Embark on one of the world’s steepest train rides — the renowned Flam Railway — to ascend 3,000 feet, passing mighty waterfalls, towering mountains and amazing valleys. Journey to the mountain plateau of Myrdal and cascade down to the fjord of Flam offering breathtaking views each way. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.
Day 10: Flam - Loen
This morning travel across the dramatic Sognefjord to the Briksdal Glacier, considered to be one of the most beautiful glaciers in Norway.
