Day 1 • Mackinac Island: Travel to Mackinaw City and board the high-speed ferry to Mackinac Island. We spend two nights at the charming Lake View Hotel on the Island. Enjoy relaxing time on your own this evening to check out the downtown area of beautiful Mackinac Island.
Day 2 • Lilac Festival: This morning, we take a narrated carriage tour of the Island including the Surrey Hills Museum, historic Main and Market Streets, Arch Rock, Fort Mackinac and more. Then, enjoy a spectacular buffet luncheon at the legendary Grand Hotel. This afternoon, explore the fun, beauty and activities of the Lilac Festival on your own. (B, L)
Day 3 • Mackinaw City: Enjoy the day on your own at the festival and viewing the Lilac Festival Parade. After the parade, we depart for Mackinaw City to the Baymont Inn, our hotel for the night. Enjoy shopping on your own in Mackinaw Crossings. Stroll through the streets of this elegant Victorian village and shop at the many stores. (B)
Day 4 • Frankenmuth: Today we depart Mackinaw City to begin traveling home. We stop at the Bavarian Inn for lunch, then enjoy a viewing of the Glockenspiel Clock before we continue home. (B, L)
