A retired middle school teacher, I live with my husband in a remodeled 1890s farmhouse and enjoy our quiet, country setting with a flock of chickens.
I enjoy traveling to destinations that are "off the beaten path" and seeing new and different venues. I'm more of a country girl who enjoys scenery and meeting people. I particularly enjoy historic places.
For more than 30 years, I enjoyed traveling with students, so after I retired I decided tour directing was a great way to continue to experience the beauty of our country and the talents of those who built it or are helping to preserve it.
Since joining Anderson Coach and Travel in summer 2015, my favorite tour has been to the Lockport, New York, Locks. I'm also eager to see Blennerhassett Island, the grand Biltmore Estate and Boston with our Anderson travel friends.
I enjoy painting, reading, walking and mowing the grass.
